Streamline Endoscope Channel Inspection with iSSAtek’s InSpace
Precision Visual Inspection for Internal Endoscope Channels
When it comes to mainting patient safety and ensuring the longevity of costly medical instruments, diligent inspection of internal endoscope channels is essential. Medical professionals in hospital reprocessing units, central sterile supply departments (CSSDs), and endoscopy support services face the challenge of verifying cleanliness and detecting damage inside the complex lumens of the flexible endoscopes.

iSSAtek addresses these challenges with InSpace, a handheld visual inspection system purpose-built for lumen inspection of colonoscopes, gastroscopes, and other flexible endoscopes. The device enhances internal channel inspection efficiency, identifying potential residues, blockages or damage that may compromise patient safety or lead to costly repairs.
Why Internal Channel Inspection Matters?
The internal channels of endoscopes are difficult to clean and inspect thoroughly. Without adequate inspection tools, internal contamination or damage can go unnoticed, increasing the risk of cross-contamination infections or expensvie instrument failure. iSSAtek's InSpace enables technicians to perform real-time visual inspections of even the narrowest lumens, guaranteeing that endoscopes are hygienic, intact, and safe for reuse.
What is InSpace? InSpace consists of two parts- an endoscope camera probe and a console with an 8-inch display.
InSpace is perfect for:

What is InSpace? InSpace consists of two parts- an endoscope camera probe and a console with an 8-inch display.
- Miniature Endoscope Camera Probe: This is just 1.7mm in diameter, making it perfect for inspecting tight and narrow spaces. It features an advanced CMOS sensor that delivers clear, detailed images at 400x400 reolustion and 30fps. A built-in 500K LED light, delivered through fiber optics, provides bright, consistent illumination. With a 2-meter probe length, it easily reaches deep internal areas.
- 8-inch Console Display: With an 8-inch IPS LCD screen and a 1280x800 resolution, users can capture images, record video, and store data on a microSD card (up to 8gb). Adjustable settings like brightness, white balance, zoom, hue, and saturation help optimize image quality for any inspection environment.
InSpace is perfect for:
- Central Sterile Supply Departments (CSSDs)
- Gastrointestinal (GI) labs
- Endoscope reprocessing units
- Medical equipment maintenance and repair labs
